Purlin Machine Specifications

There are some basic design specifications for purlin production using a purlin machine:
1. Formwork can be designed as single-span simply supported or continuous members.
2. Lattice members are recommended for spans greater than 9 meters, and the stability of the compression flange should be verified.
3. Lattice purlins can be constructed using flat truss, space truss, or bottom-braced purlins.
4. Solid-web purlins should be constructed using cold-formed thin-walled steel sections with rolled edges, channel-shaped steel sections with inclined edges, and cold-formed thin-walled steel sections with straight edges and Z-shaped steel sections.
